IABM has announced the winners of the 2025 IABM Impact Awards at a ceremony held at IBC in Amsterdam.
The awards, sponsored by AVIXA, were given out from 18:00-19:00 on Saturday 13 September in the IABM Hub, Diamond Lounge.
The Outstanding Innovation Award was won by DMC Production/ Grass Valley/ Broadcast Solutions/ Ziggo Sport, while the Technology Catalyst Award went to Alistair Horne, Managing Director of Hornets-Tech.
Louis Hernandez Jr, Executive Chairman of Grass Valley, took home the Visionary Leadership Award. Likewise, Bitfocus achieved the Pro AV Changemaker Award, Grass Valley AMPP won the Sustainability Champion Award, and Bitmovin collected the Community Impact Award.
Beyond this, the Trailblazer Award went to Stacey Moorcroft, Director of Sales and Business Operations at Ross Video. Additionally, Olivia Peacock, Customer Project Manager at Red Bee Media, attained the Rising Star Andrew Jones Award.
After this, the Transformational Project Award went to Jio Star India / Postudio / Planetcast. Finally, TAMS on Amazon Web Services (AWS) secured the Industry Partnership Award.
The IABM Impact Awards were judged by an internationally respected panel of broadcasters, organisations, consultants and media, which included: Luiz Padilha, President of Padilha Consulting (Head Judge); Andrea Berry, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations and Technology at NBCUniversal; Sarah Joyce, Chief Global Officer at AVIXA; Vijaya Cherian, Publishing Director of BroadcastPro Middle East; Phil Sandberg, Publisher for Content + Technology; Seth Rogers, Director of AI at Kendryl; Carrie Wootten, Managing Director of Media Talent Manifesto; Geir Børdalen, Head of Technology Portfolio at NRK; and Matt Stagg, Creative Technologist of MTech Sport.

Luiz Padilha, Head Judge of the awards, added: “The quality of entries this year was outstanding.
