Banijay Entertainment has confirmed Patrick Holland as Executive Chairman and CEO of Banijay UK following its recent merger with All3Media.
Holland will report to Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment, and his leadership responsibilities now span the majority of the combined UK portfolio, comprising around 40 creative labels.
Between them, the labels are responsible for producing over 2,000 hours of content annually, including Netflix’s House of Guiness and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, Prime Video’s Last One Laughing, the BBC’s SAS Rogue Heroes and MasterChef, and ITV’s Big Brother.
Banijay Entertainment and All3Media completed their mega-merger in July, creating the world’s largest independent production company.
The deal, first announced in March 2026, sees Banijay Group’s Banijay Entertainment merge with RedBird IMI’s All3Media, with a portfolio of companies spanning content production, live events and experiences, digital, and new media.
Holland joined Banijay UK in May 2022, with indie acquisitions during his time including The Forge and Garrison Drama.
He joined Banijay UK from the BBC, where he was Director, Factual, Arts, and Classical Music, Channel Controller of BBC Two, and Head of Documentaries Commissioning.
Bassetti said: “Having local experts at the helm of our regional portfolios was always a strategic priority, and in the UK, we are pleased to confirm Patrick as our onward lead.”
Holland said: “Under the expert leadership of Jane Turton and Sara Geater, All 3 has grown to be a phenomenal creative and commercial force and it’s a huge privilege to be asked to lead the combined business.”
Forecasting the ripple effects of this deal for IBC365, Guy Bisson, Executive Director of Ampere Analysis, recently stated: “Combining Banijay and All3 is bang on trend as a marker deal for how legacy players and groups still focused on single geographies need to think about their future.” Discover more here.
