Nagravision's AI piracy system makes its IBC debut

Nagra Venturi is designed to identify interrelated threat patterns, continuously learn new threat vectors and support proactive intervention rather than reactive takedowns. 

Tim Pearson, VP, Global Solution, Partner Marketing, Nagravision, said: “Nagra Venturi is intelligence-led streaming security, but for the AI era. Piracy is now industrialised. AI is being used more and more by pirates, and therefore traditional approaches no longer work. 

“An overall architected view pulls together all of the different data sources, allowing the operator to really understand what the threat landscape looks like.” 

Pearson noted that a delayed response isn't sufficient: “The focus is on the proactive response rather than the reactive, because a week later is no good.” 

Nagravision also announced that Nagra Venturi will combine its anti-piracy intelligence capabilities with agentic AI capabilities built on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Foundry.
