Industry events

Digiday’s Video Summit Europe will open its doors on Tuesday for two-days in Amsterdam focussing on the new video economy with digital video executives across TV and publishing.

Telefilm Vietnam 2018 is a three-day event dedicated to TV technology running from Thursday to Saturday this week in Ho Chi Minh City. It will showcase products and services from vendors offering film and TV technology and media and entertainment services.

Film and TV releases 

ITV’s Love Island returns to UK screens this week. The much-anticipated hit reality show will air on Monday.  

Season 4 of The Night Shift will come to Netflix on Thursday. 

Ocean’s 8 will be released on Friday, starring Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett.

Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist, about Dame Vivienne Westwood and how she has redefined fashion over the last 40 years, will also hit US cinemas on Friday.
