Couret explains France 24 is on “almost all streaming devices” including Roku boxes, Apple TV, Amazon Fire as well as set-top boxes, IP TV and cable operators.

”The idea today is to go where our viewers are and we want to improve this specifically in the US and Canada where the OTT usage is already well in place.”

Couret says its mission is to increase the usage and penetration of its application across those platforms as well as understanding the pipeline of manufacturers to be close with the future technology advances. 

“Voice recognition and artificial intelligence (AI) adds this new kind of functionality that will be able to help us to increase the usage and better distribute our channel to OTT platforms.”
