The response was overwhelmingly postiive, not just for the usual reasons around the value of in-person communication and nurturing professional relationships in general, but also specifically meeting customers and partners in person to get feedback and real in-field experience. As Nicolas Bourdon of EVS summarised it: ”People need to put their hands on the technology to really understand what it is and how it works - in order to bring content to life.”

Rick Young of LTN said the two shows are crucial to his annual cycle: “It’s a rite of passage every year to head to IBC in Amsterdam and to Las Vegas in the spring for NAB, we really plan our calendar around it. We plan our product roadmap around it.”
