MediaKind and Harmonic complete merger

The merger of MediaKind and Harmonic's video business is now complete, with the combined company bringing together SaaS streaming, appliance platforms and cloud video technologies.

MediaKind says the combined entity has more than $100m in annual recurring revenue and over $150m in annual appliance revenue, with a global blue-chip customer base.

Harmonic's video workforce has been absorbed into MediaKind. A new website has been launched to mark the deal, showcasing cloud-native software, SaaS services and video infrastructure aimed at organisations wishing to modernise their video operations.
