This includes the debut of its Twin25G T5 Thunderbolt 5 adapter, which adds 25GbE fibre connectivity to Thunderbolt and USB4 computers. Designed for professionals working with shared storage, media servers and high-speed network infrastructure, the adapter enables computers without internal PCIe slots to connect to 25GbE networks and storage systems.

Sonnet is also introducing the Solo10G T5 Thunderbolt 5 adapter, a bus-powered 10Gb Ethernet Thunderbolt 5 adapter. Consuming 7.5W, the Solo10G T5 enables Thunderbolt 5 computers to connect to 10Gb Ethernet networks over standard Cat 6 or Cat 6A copper cabling.

A pair of new Thunderbolt 5 docking stations are also on display: the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 5 SecureDock and Echo 21 Thunderbolt 5 SuperDock.

The Sonnet stand also features its xMac Studio/Echo II DV T5 3U rackmount system, xMac mini (2024+)/Echo II DV T5 2U rackmount system and Breakaway Box 850 T5 Thunderbolt 5 eGPU for Windows 11 computers.

Sonnet is also giving IBC2026 attendees a first look at new Thunderbolt 5 products, including a multi-slot PCIe 4.0 card expansion system and a multi-SSD storage device capable of speeds of up to 6,000MB/s.
