Three new models in Magewell’s Pro Convert family of standalone NDI hardware converters are making their European debut at IBC2019: the Pro Convert HDMI TX and Pro Convert SDI TX dedicated NDI encoders, and the Pro Convert AIO RX NDI decoder.
The new models join four established Pro Convert Plus configurations.
The Pro Convert family of hardware converters allows a user to bring HDMI or SDI video signals into and out of IP-based production workflows using NewTek’s NDI technology. Magewell claims the two new Pro Convert TX configurations offer a lower-cost entry point for customers needing only a low-latency encoder to transform baseband sources into NDI streams.
The new Pro Convert AIO RX decoder converts live NDI streams into high-quality SDI or HDMI outputs for connection to baseband devices such as monitors, projectors and legacy production equipment. This simplifies the use of NDI in applications such as video-enhanced digital signage, large-scale videowalls, multi-site video distribution, and image magnification.
