Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship have today announced an extended partnership that will cover every race of the electric racing series across 50 markets in Europe.
The multi-year agreement will extend WBD’s relationship with Formula E beyond 12 years since Eurosport first broadcast race coverage from the 2015 season.

As the pan-European home of Formula E, WBD will harness its television channels (Eurosport 1 and 2), streaming platforms (Max, discovery+, the Eurosport App and Eurosport Extra), digital sites (Eurosport.com) and its free-to-air networks.
WBD will be the exclusive broadcaster of Formula E in eight markets including the UK, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Spain and Turkey, while also providing live race coverage in Italy for the first time since 2020.
Trojan Paillot, SVP Sports Rights Acquisitions and Syndications at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, said: “We’re delighted that we can further extend our partnership with the Formula E to continue leveraging our world-class production expertise and passionate motorsport storytelling ability to scale coverage to the widest possible audience.”
Aarti Dabas, Chief Media Officer at Formula E, said: “Eurosport has been a key player in growing our European fanbase since 2015 and which helped achieve record live audiences for Formula E racing last season. We are delighted to extend this major media partnership with WBD and will work together to continue building the Formula E fanbase across Europe.”
Formula’s E’s tenth season began on 13 January with the Hankook Mexico City E-Prix. The 2024 series will encompass 16 rounds in 10 world cities including a season ending double-header in London on 20-21 July.
