Jon Roberts, Director of Technology, Production and Innovation at ITN, talks about how the news organisation embraced new production technologies across its operations. ITN, headquartered in central London, produces news programmes for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK, as well as having a thriving production arm. Jon tells IBC Digital how the company innovated across live and remote production, looking at cloud, satellite and 5G services, as well as upgrading its main newsroom system for ITV News.
