Robotic dolly specialist Motion Impossible has revamped its flagship Agito modular dolly system. Agito Gen 2 has redesigned electronics and control ware, also available for existing Agitos as an upgrade.

The new Gen 2 Core has silent steering, expanded I/O, more power options, and extra intelligence, including operational telemetry and intuitive controls, to offer a smoother, smarter workflow.

Agito robotic dolly gets Core upgrade

Agito, the next generation: Drewett with the new Master Controller and modular dolly

The new Master Controller has improved ergonomics and user interface. It adds Ethernet control, haptic feedback, a precise tower or column control rocker, bigger screen and is IP54-rated, for dust and water resistance.

Rob Drewett, CEO and Co-Founder, Motion Impossible, said: “We pushed the envelope of what was physically possible in camera movement when we launched the Agito back in 2018. Its modular design enabled us to expand its capabilities over the years, but it was now time for us to change the game.”

Gen 2 Core supports Agito Sports, Trax drive-ends and the MagTrax add-on, and is compatible with existing drive-ends and accessories. It can also take heavier payloads.

Motion Impossible is also previewing future products: Commander, centralised software for managing multiple Agitos; and Sonar, for safe operation out of sight, using forward and reverse view streams and proximity detection.
