Who could be better than a former ESA astronaut and physicist as an adviser for a provider of satellite terminals? Hall 1 exhibitor Satcube certainly couldn’t think of one, and has just appointed Christer Fuglesang to take on this role.

Mats Andersson, Chairman, Satcube, noted that the “timing could not be better with Satcube the GEO portable terminal provider aiming to explore opportunities in the LEO terminal market”.

Fuglesang commented that he is “excited to join Satcube in an advisory role as the technology company enters the next phase of its growth journey. I see the Satcube team as future-oriented innovators that have already proven the strength of the Swedish brand as a leading provider of premium portable terminals - in size, quality, functionality and design.”

The company will also be showcasing the Satcube Ku lightweight satellite terminal at IBC.

Satcube benchmark portable terminals are already providing critical connectivity. For example, it currently has 10 active projects in Ukraine alone, including with media houses CBS News, ABC News, ITV News, NRK and Danish TV channel TV2, plus International Red Cross Geneva, UNHCR and the US and European governments.
