Cloud-based SaaS technology specialist Amagi announced the upcoming general availability of Amagi NOW, a modular SaaS solution offering management and monetisation functionality in the cloud for delivering content to linear and video on demand (VOD) platforms.
With competition in the streaming ecosystem at an all-time high, Amagi NOW is designed to provide “a vital advantage to content owners and platforms, improving time to market and achieving faster revenue realisation by automating processes that increase operational efficiencies”.

Meanwhile, Amagi also announced the general availability of its broadcast-grade cloud playout product, Amagi CLOUDPORT, on Google Cloud Marketplace, combining Amagi’s live and on-demand video infrastructure services with Google Cloud’s solutions.
