AWS partner Meta is showcasing its content metadata platform and API gateway for the media and entertainment industries.

Shaun McCarthy, general manager, Meta, said: “Meta enables customers to store identification, editorial, technical, rights, discovery and AI-generated content metadata for media and entertainment catalogues. It also stores additional metadata assets like images and videos that are required to complete a dynamic and compelling user experience.

According to customer Global Eagle, Meta has an elegant, intuitive and modern UI that showcases available content to its customers, providing an improved and unified customer interaction experience with media.

“It includes automated metadata enrichment to give improved, individual title-based intelligence, blended with adjacent information, for a comprehensive 360-degree view to present IFE ROI,” Global Eagle said.

“Speed is one of our key design requirements,” added McCarthy. “Our technology stack has been carefully selected to accelerate user experience and API data tasks. Meta leverages the latest development frameworks and the extreme power of cloud technologies, empowering users to work with hugely complex data projects at incredible speeds.”
