IBC Digital will continue to host presentations and debates on the industry’s hottest topics, with a programme of content for January that covers all aspects of the creation and delivery of content.

Throughout January, a series of themed weeks will allow IBC Digital users to explore topics in detail, starting with (from 10th January) an in-depth look at the issues affecting production and post-production. One of the sessions during this week, ‘How virtual sets and AR are changing content production’ will examine how AR solutions have revolutionised sports in a pandemic year when many events have taken place behind closed doors.

Featuring Paulo Ferreira, global sales director, TVIsion and Miguel Churruca, marketing and communications director, Brainstorm the session will be moderated by immersive producer and creative technologist Muki Kulhan.

Later in January, during the Content Supply Chain themed week, the session titled ‘Restructuring business models for VOD, AVOD and SVOD service providers with data’ will see Steven Soenens, VP Product Marketing, Dataminer, Skyline Communications, Penny Westlake, director Europe, Interra Systems, Sarvanraja Nadar, practice head OTT, Tata Elxsi discuss how the intelligent use of subscriber device telemetry can help inform the business strategy for content providers and how to increase operator revenue margins with the help of data analytics.
