Michaela Coel picked up the best actress award at Sunday night’s Bafta TV Awards, also winning awards for writing and directing her drama I May Destroy You.

Other winners included Normal People’s Paul Mescal, who was named best actor, and Malachi Kirby in the Supporting Actor category for their part in Small Axe.

Meanwhile, Springwatch picked up the prize in the Live Event category.
