ModernTV brings clarity to OTT

Czech-based provider of IPTV/OTT technology, ModernTV, will be showcasing updates to its “fast-to-deploy, flexible end-to-end OTT platform designed for a rich and intuitive user experience”.

The company says the platform is tailored to meet the evolving needs of telecom operators and TV providers looking to launch new streaming services or enhance existing offerings.

Users can create themed collections with the ModernTV solution

New for IBC is a redesigned homepage that introduces dynamic strip formats: catalogues are now visually clearer and easier to navigate, thanks to the use of cards in various sizes that separate content categories more distinctly, avoiding the monotonous look of a uniform grid.

This not only improves overall aesthetics but also enhances usability for both live and on-demand content, including catch-up TV and VOD libraries.

Another enhancement is the introduction of genre-based collections. These allow users to quickly browse content by theme, such as drama, comedy, or sports, while also giving them the freedom to create personalised collections based on their preferences.
