Veset offers self-service cloud playout subscription

At IBC2026, Latvia-based Veset is showing a self-service subscription option for its Nimbus cloud playout platform, which it claims lets content owners buy, configure, and activate a FAST or OTT channel entirely online.

The company added that this aims to replace lengthy RFPs and sales cycles with three steps: select a package, subscribe by card, and go live, with a free, seven-day trial available first.

Nimbus is a cloud-native SaaS platform running on AWS, combining live and file-based sources in a single frame-accurate playlist. It supports full SCTE-35 ad insertion, dynamic graphics, EPG and subtitle data, automated QC with AWS recognition, and primary/backup playout redundancy per channel.

Output streams are broadcast-quality and distribution-agnostic, reaching FAST, OTT, satellite, cable and terrestrial digital platforms, the company claimed.

Gatis Gailis, CEO and Founder of Veset, said: “Content owners want a simplified buying journey as much as good technology. This offering lets a provider go from decision to live channel in hours.”
