As live production demands faster response times and more flexible infrastructures, Guntermann & Drunck will showcase a range of real-world OB van and studio workflows.
G&D KVM systems address the challenges of mobile broadcast units and live control rooms by enabling centralised access to multiple computers and video sources from a single operator station.
In OB vans, G&D’s KVM extenders and matrix systems separate high-performance computers from the operator workspace, reducing heat and noise in the production area while freeing up space for creative and technical personnel. Operators can switch between systems on the fly and use intuitive interfaces that allow real-time access with pixel-perfect image quality.
For live studios, G&D supports multi-user, multi-system collaboration. Directors, technicians, and editors can share systems or operate independently, switching between control and graphics machines, ingest stations, or automation systems without physically moving between consoles.
The company also integrates video processing features such as multiviewing, allowing operators to monitor multiple feeds in parallel with support for 4K resolutions, redundant architectures, and signal encryption.
