LiveU to showcase AI-driven connectivity at IBC2026

LiveU is showcasing the ‘Q Era’ at IBC2026 – AI-driven connectivity intelligence within a modular IP ecosystem automating live production workflows across news, sports and entertainment.

Key elements include the LU900Q and LiveU IQ (LIQ). Gideon Gilboa, Chief Business Officer of LiveU, said: “20 years ago, LiveU changed the industry with IP bonding. The LU900Q does it again – the first Intelligent Production Unit with AI-driven connectivity that chooses the best bonding option.

Gideon Gilboa, LiveU: “Being story-centric and digital-first are no longer trade show slogans” Gideon Galboa, LiveU

“The industry is moving from application-centric thinking to workflow-centric thinking as our customers try to handle larger volumes of content at lower costs and higher speeds. Being story-centric and digital-first are no longer trade show slogans. These are the reality for our customers as they transform the way they produce news. With the LiveU Ecosystem, they can now create those workflows and build their own agents to automate them,” Gilboa added.

LiveU is also demonstrating its expanded collaboration with Sony. On display, and currently available, the LiveU TX1 is a compact, camera-mounted unit for Sony professional cameras, providing bonded file transfer directly from the camera.

Also featured, the Sony RXS Connection License enables direct file transfer from compatible Sony cameras to the PWA-RXS system through supported LiveU field units.

Cuez is the latest partner to join the LiveU ecosystem.

Other technologies on show include LiveU Nexus, LiveU Studio and LiveU Ingest. Actus Digital, a LiveU company, is also showing its Actus X monitoring platform, with compliance logging, low-latency multiviewing, QA monitoring, clip creation and AI.
