Cable specialist Argosy has expanded its infrastructure portfolio with the addition of Gude Systems’ intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) and GeoTag asset tracking technology from Tazaar. The firm becomes an official distributor for both manufacturers.
The inclusion of Gude’s range of smart PDUs and power monitoring systems enables Argosy to support power management requirements for rack-based and distributed installations, supporting remote monitoring, switching and environmental oversight.
Argosy’s offering of GeoTag tracking will extend its capabilities into asset visibility and management. The system provides real-time location tracking and monitoring of equipment, useful for managing large inventories of valuable or mobile assets.
Lisa Stafford, CEO and Co-Founder of Tazaar, said: “Argosy is a natural fit for Tazaar’s GeoTag solutions, given their experience in connectivity and infrastructure projects across AV and broadcasting. Their technical expertise enables us to extend the reach of our technology while continuing to focus on product development.”
