Promptergo is presenting its Speech Console at IBC2026, a self-contained teleprompter controller with an integrated computer designed to eliminate the need for a separate PC.
Scripts load in seconds, according to the company. Users can scan a QR code to send a presentation to the unit or plug in a USB stick. Everything is managed from the device's touchscreen and a smart jog knob – itself a small circular display – which handles play, pause, scroll speed and running order.
The Speech Console outputs HD over HDMI and works with most teleprompters, so it drops straight into an existing setup without new displays.

For added resilience, two units can run as a synchronised main-and-backup pair, with an external HDMI switcher to cut to the backup if needed, and an HDMI splitter to feed several teleprompters from one unit.
Chen Li of Promptergo, said: “Plenty of live events have no room, or no time, for a prompting PC and a separate operator's rig. We wanted one box that a single person can set up in minutes and run.”
