Sotoudeh: “The objective is to design a solution that is attractive from both a price and performance point of view”

This will initiate the integration between the antenna and the ReQuTech antenna control unit and sensors. Omid Sotoudeh, CEO of ReQuTech, said: “We expect to have a prototype finished by the end of 2020. The objective is to design a solution that is attractive from both a price and performance point of view. One of the main challenges has been to make a low loss (high gain) solution that also delivers ITU/FCC/Eutelsat standard antenna pattern performance. To that end, our engineers have worked on a novel signal processing algorithm which initially looks very promising – although as an engineering firm, we need real data before launching a full product design.”

ReQuTech says it is actively seeking commercial partners to help bring the design to completion and ensure a successful launch.
