GatesAir launches AirWatch365 transmitter monitoring service

GatesAir is debuting AirWatch365 at IBC2026, a 24/7 NOC-based service that moves beyond basic remote control of a single transmitter to continuous telemetry, alarm correlationand analytics across many sites.

Available through the GatesAir Care programme, the service provides TV and radio broadcasters with a dedicated team of GatesAir RF experts to monitor transmitter performance, analyse RF conditions and proactively respond to issues affecting quality of experience and uptime.

AirWatch365 uses a cloud server as the central aggregation layer, while its companion AirWatch365 Edge Gateway RF site appliance normalises data from exciters, transmittersand environmental systems.

This allows engineering teams to manage alarms, performance metrics, firmware and configuration baselines and reports across the portfolio, while maintaining local autonomy and fail-safe operation if a site is temporarily isolated.

The architecture supports customisation by allowing tailored logical views by market or region, site groupings (main/aux/booster) and device-specific KPIs - including forward/reverse power, power amplifier (PA) temperatures, audio silence and radio data system (RDS) parameters - presented differently per customer.

Alarm rules and notifications can be tuned to each station's tolerance and operating pattern, reducing alarm fatigue while ensuring out-of-tolerance RF, power or environmental conditions generate actionable alerts.
