G&D is demonstrating how KVM systems deliver high resolutions and non-dropping frame rates for the ideal gaming experience in Hall 8.

According to the company, at live events, where gamers demonstrate their skills, smooth technology is crucial for efficient operation. It claims that KVM systems create stable infrastructures for gamers and esports arenas and offer “enormous added value” in various esports applications.

G&D’s KVM systems enable latency-free and pixel-perfect real-time access

With the entire computer equipment able to be moved from an arena to an air-conditioned and access-protected room, it not only provides protection for the high-performance computers, but also reduces the heat and noise level at the gaming consoles. At the same time, G&D’s KVM systems enable latency-free and pixel-perfect real-time access to the computers with high frame rates of up to 240Hz/s.

Thanks to frame rate conversion, the signals can also be transmitted to a videowall in scaled form. By integrating a KVM matrix system, users can benefit from an optimal and collaborative workflow: authorised users can switch between numerous sources and decide what is shown on the videowalls.

Another advantage of KVM for esports is that non-HID-compatible gaming keyboards and mouse devices with additional buttons and mini displays can be used through transparent USB 2.0 ports across the matrix.
