The new Atom Two HDR camera combines a compact form factor with increased dynamic range for live production applications.
Michael Goepel, Director of Product, Dream Chip Technologies, said: “Instead of 12-bit dynamic range it now has 14-bit, plus 16-bit processing, in a form factor that is 3.5cm long. It’s unique at this size.”

It is small enough to fit in race cars, on boats, where it is IP67 rated, or for jockey POV shots in horse racing. It uses an S-mount lens and comes with a wide-angle 4.2mm lens offering an 85° FoV. The 1/1.8-in sensor has a global shutter and can output HLG, PQ and S-Log3 to work with any HDR pipeline.
All Atom Two cameras are now compatible with the Visca protocol, allowing them to be controlled using a low-cost Stream Deck rather than an RCP.
