Based on its core encoding/muxing/packaging modules, which ATEME says are already in use 24/7 by major content and service providers around the world, TITAN now features new playout capabilities such as scheduling, branding and automation.

Rémi Beaudouin, chief strategy officer, said: “This all-in-one approach directly translates into lower OPEX and CAPEX for stations, broadcasters and content owners looking to originate a channel on-premises or from off-premises/public cloud.”

TITAN Playout is said to support any production file format including all MXF flavours, and transcode them into any format. TITAN Playout can output in TS, as well as SDI and SMPTE 2022-5/6.

In addition, leveraging ATEME’s AI-based OTT processing and dynamic ad insertion manipulation, ATEME believes TITAN Playout paves the way to stream personalised TV with enhanced monetisation.

Ateme is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand on 1.D71.
