Amanda Weaver is the Director of Professional Publishing at the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) a position she has held since 2008. Amanda's portfolio includes the IET's member magazine E&T both in print and digitally; the IET standards programme which includes BS 7671 the IET Wiring Regulations which was first published in 1882 and is used in all low voltage electrical installations in the UK; the IET's library and archive services; and the IET Academy - our newly launched e-learning product for engineers. Prior to joining the IET Amanda worked in the scientific, technical and medical journals and books business and in business-to-business magazine publishing.
