Starfish brings stream-splicing tools to IBC2026

Starfish Technologies is showcasing its transport stream processing software at IBC2026, including the latest versions of TS Splicer (Win) and TS Splicer (K8).

TS Splicer manages clean switching of live feeds, ad replacement, regional programme substitution, SCTE-35 processing and logo insertion. It supports MPEG-2, H.264 and HEVC/H.265 streams across SD, HD and UHD services, with SMPTE ST 2022-7 input protection.

Features can be enabled or disabled remotely, allowing operators to add functionality, change how a channel is processed or scale a deployment without reinstalling software or replacing the platform.

Starfish is also demonstrating its Monitoring Dashboard, which gives operators a consolidated view of running services, inputs, outputs and system status. This lets teams see what's active and what's coming up without needing separate monitoring tools.

Available as TS Splicer (Win) for Windows servers or TS Splicer (K8) for Kubernetes environments and backed by a REST API for integration with automation, control and monitoring systems, the software is deployed on more than 1,000 live channels worldwide.
