3 Screen Solutions (3SS) said Belgium-based operator Proximus has launched a new web app to further enhance choice, convenience and reach for subscribers to its super-aggregated TV service Pickx
Live as of mid-September 2025, the new web-based service extends the reach of Proximus’ multiscreen React Native platform infrastructure engineered by 3SS and announced in 2024.
According to 3SS, React Native is an important building block of Proximus’ Pickx applications strategy, offering an efficient approach to cross-platform software development.
By enabling the creation of apps for multiple operating systems and device types from a single codebase, React Native significantly accelerates deployment and streamlines integration with backend systems and other components, 3SS said.
Pradeep Thekkedath, TV platforms lead at Proximus, said: “Seamless cross-platform experience has been our guiding principle throughout the Pickx roadmap. The technology choices we made together with 3SS, powered by 3Ready, enable exactly that — along with significant development and operational savings, and a faster rollout of new innovations.”
