IBC SHOWCASE came to a close with the revelation that the virtual event will continue with additional sessions, material and announcements through October.
The IBC virtual event, which ran from 8-11 September, saw thousands of people tuning in from around the world to catch up with IBC, online and on demand.
Committed to serving the media and entertainment community by driving industry-wide innovation and collaboration, IBC has announced that IBC SHOWCASE will continue as a once a week event throughout 2020. Comcast, Fastly and Vast Data are already confirmed to run virtual Exhibitor sessions in the coming weeks.
The announcement follows the success of the virtual show, which featured three core components: an Exhibitor Showcase, a programme of presentations and discussions and comprehensive coverage of product launches via the online IBC Daily News site.

EVS, Grass Valley, Rohde and Schwarz and the EBU were among the companies and organisations to share their latest innovations during virtual Workflow Tours at the IBC SHOWCASE
IBC SHOWCASE will feature topic-led Workflow Tours, where an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide will lead viewers through some of the most pressing issues in the industry today.
These tours will be carefully curated by leading experts from the content and technology industry with the aim of helping attendees navigate this rapidly changing landscape.
