Altair Intercom has expanded its IPcom family of intercom systems, with three new additions at IBC. The IPcom devices and Nebula software constitute a decentralised IP-based intercom environment that Altair claims offers the versatility of a matrix communication system at a very affordable price.

Altair has introduced the IPX-302 (dual interface for 4W systems) and the IPW-306 (six-channel wall/desktop comms console) and announced AES67 compatibility for the IPcom series via a new interface (arriving by the end of 2023). There is also a new wall-mounting accessory for its IPB-306 belt packs.

Fran Herrería, Director of Business Development, Altair Intercom, said: “With these additions, we want to show that Altair can adapt and design complex and tailored solutions. We try to satisfy our customers’ demands and we know that nowadays systems must be easy to integrate. It’s not just about how good your system is, but how it makes the job easier for the professionals who will be using it.”
