In a collaboration announced at IBC, Swedish broadband connectivity provider Forsway has joined forces with Chinese chip maker Montage LZ Technologies, and Taiwanese manufacturer Zinwell, for the new Forsway Odin F-60 series of hybrid satellite terminals.
These terminals are integrated with the Symphony 4 IC product from Montage LZ and this includes functionality for high bandwidth IP data reception from satellite using the latest DVB standards (DVB-S2X and GSE).
Hugh Napier, Senior Business Development Director (EMEA) at Montage LZ said, “Forsway’s innovative hybrid satcom hardware and technology offering enables service operators to provide broadband services to users in underserved markets.”
