Visitors to the RAI will be able to experience metaverse-ready broadcasts, including metahumans, that turn talent into CG avatars live on set.

A full LED volume showcasing virtual content and built-in collaboration with partners including Roe, Ncam, and Canon, will be the centrepiece of the disguise stand in Hall 2.

Visitors will have the chance to get hands-on with the technology and see what the virtual volume is capable of.

Aside from metahumans, live demos will include augmented reality graphics that presenters can see and interact with – all in real time. Stand visitors will be able to see how to create extended reality environments that can turn a TV studio into a massive jungle, as well as discover the benefits of managing an entire studio while working collaboratively in the cloud using Polygon Porta software. The software comes integrated with dozens of data sources that can be linked directly to Unreal Engine graphics.

Disguise will also show how to distribute live, synchronous content to any screen and at any resolution using its cluster rendering technology.
