Sports streamer DAZN Group has launched technology and innovation hub DAZN X to develop interactive and engaging experiences for its viewers.

DAZN X is launching on the back of DAZN Group’s acquisition of video streaming innovation company Texel, based in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

DAZN will focus on more interractive and engaging live sports streaming

Texel’s 50 strong team will join DAZN X to work alongside the streamer’s existing technology and product teams.

DAZN X will operate as a global business unit across all DAZN’s core markets, and focus on developing interactive and engaging content layers for fans as part of the company’s sports streaming service.

DAZN said subscribers will soon be able to talk, share, shop and play with their friends and communities while live streaming premium sports content.
