• Workflow tours to be a key feature on offer during IBC SHOWCASE
  • Virtual tours will span Content Creation, Post Production, Content Supply Chain and D2C
  • Tours to demonstrate workflow solutions on pressing industry challenges

EVS, Grass Valley, Rohde and Schwarz and the EBU are among the companies and organisations to share their latest innovations during virtual Workflow Tours at the upcoming IBC SHOWCASE, which will take place online from 8-11 September.

IBC SHOWCASE will feature topic-led Workflow Tours, where an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide will lead viewers through some of the most pressing issues in the industry today.

These tours will be carefully curated by leading experts from the content and technology industry with the aim of helping attendees navigate this rapidly changing landscape.

The tours span four major topic areas: Content Creation, Post Production, Content Supply Chain, and Direct to Consumer.

EVS, Telstra, Nevion, Grass Valley and Rohde and Schwarz have all signed up to take part in the Content Creation track, which will take place on 8 September 2020.

Quantum, Genelec, Elements, Dolby, OpenDrives and Vecima are among the names set to demonstrate post-production workflows, which will include VFX, grading, remote editing and cloud collaboration.

The Content Supply Chain track will look at a range of topics around the efficient management and preparation of completed content ready for delivery. These include ingest, QC, localisation, compliance, transcode/transform, packaging, storage, MAM, cloud, workflow orchestration.

Companies signed up to take part in the tour, which will take place on 10 September, include Fraunhofer, Intelsat, Rohde and Schwarz, Sony and TAG VS.

The final day of IBC Showcase (11 September) will see workflow tours looking at topics including D2C platforms, OTT/streaming platforms, 5G broadcast, CDNs, security, subscription management, ad-tech and addressable advertising, UI/UX, data and personalisation.

The likes of the EBU, Rohde and Schwarz, Eluvio, and LiveU are all set to demonstrate workflows as part of the D2C tour.
