Grass Valley will showcase FLX Reporter at IBC2026, a new mobile contribution app that connects field contributors directly to its Framelight X web editor, speeding up live production workflows.

According to the company, production teams need workflows that keep pace with the story, whether covering breaking news, live sports or major events. By using the app alongside Framelight X, producers and editors can review footage, collaborate and begin building stories immediately, rather than waiting for files to be transferred and ingested.

This approach allows teams to review, edit and collaborate in real time while events are still unfolding, accelerating editorial decisions and getting content to air and digital platforms faster.

Régis André, VP, Software Engineering and Innovation at Grass Valley, said: "Every minute matters when you’re covering live events. FLX Reporter removes the delays between capture and production, allowing contributors, producers and editors to work together from the moment recording begins, wherever they are."
