Melbourne eSports Open #MEO2018 this Saturday and Sunday at the Melbourne Olympic Park Precinct. The two-days of tournaments will see contenders from across the globe participate in the competitions including Minecraft, Quake and Fortnite. 

IFA 2018 is the Consumer Electronics Show in Berlin, Germany on Friday 31 August until 5 September for the global technology industry.

Film and TV releases 

Action Point hits cinemas on Friday, following a daredevil (Johnny Knoxville) who designs and operates his own theme park with his friends. 

Set in ’70s Kingston and ’80s Hackney, Yardie centres on the life of a young Jamaican man named D (Aml Ameen), who witnessed his brother’s murder when he was a child, released on Friday. 

Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama, is coming out with a new animated series called Disenchantment that will be exclusive to Netflix from Monday.
