He has been involved in voice and artificial intelligence since the early noughties and has worked in design, engineering and as a consultant. Dan has seen the AI world emerge from shadows into the mainstream and gained tons of practical experience along the way.

Currently engaged in the BBC’s conversational AI capacity, working with engineering and design teams, R&D, academic and industrial partners. Focused on advanced dialogue, conversational content content discovery, while maintaining the BBC’s core public service values and impartiality.
