Yospace announced the appointment of Paul Davies as head of marketing. According to the company, he will be responsible for the company’s marketing activity across the globe “as the streaming market moves towards advertising-based business models at mass scale”.
Davies re-joins Yospace after a four-year spell at Platform Communications, where he oversaw analyst relations and led international communications campaigns for the likes of Verizon, Yahoo, and NEC. In his previous term at Yospace, he built and led the company’s marketing function as the company expanded its server-side ad insertion (SSAI) business.
Tim Sewell, CEO at Yospace, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Paul back to Yospace, The combination of Paul’s extensive SSAI knowledge coupled with his wider sector experience will be invaluable at this exciting time in the next phase of our growth.”
Davies added: “There is a fantastic opportunity for Yospace right now as the connected TV advertising market is growing at an incredibly fast pace, and SSAI sits at the heart of it. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Tim and the rest of the team at such an exciting time.”
