James has worked in the post-production Industry for over 12 years. After graduating from Oxford Brookes University, he started working at Aardman Animations, learning the ropes in the machine room before moving into assistant editor roles.

James worked in various technical editorial support roles at the BBC and NBC, and in 2018 joined MSV Post (the in-house post-production department for Tinopolis Group) as Head of Technical Operations. Whilst at MSV Post James was responsible for the overall technical direction and support of the department, and during Covid led in the rapid deployment of a remote workflow for the post team whilst helping with innovations to keep productions shooting.

James joined ITN productions in early 2022, as the Head of Technical Operations where he will use his experience to provide direction on technology solutions and workflow, such as the two new HDR suites which have recently been deployed.

Rod Reding, REL Productions

Rod Reding

With over 25 years of experience in producing award winning marketing, sales, and educational videos for organisations with global influence, Rod is intricately involved with his team in developing engaging content which effectively communicates to audiences in a stylistic and relevant way.

He spends most of his time finishing shows in Autodesk Flame and overseeing his team’s content management system and post-production workflow. Rod currently works for REL Productions which he helped start in 1992.

Simon Green, Founder & CEO, Green Rock and Edit Cloud

Simon is an entrepreneurial CEO with a history of storytelling for both brands and broadcasters. His career began as an editor for BAFTA-winning shows for BBC, Sky, ITV and NetFlix.

He founded Green Rock in 2008 which has recently become the first Soho facility to leave the bricks and mortar behind and go completely virtual. He says, “Our future hinges on sustainability, and that’s not a restriction, it’s an opportunity for innovation. Green Rock’s purpose is to connect story makers whoever and wherever they are, and to do this they focused on being virtual and global.”

He led the growth of the business from a Soho based facility to a highly strategic content studio, operating in the UK, US and Middle East working alongside the biggest brands and broadcasters. He has recently launched Edit Cloud, a completely cloud-based editing platform and talent marketplace.

He supports multiple leading media technology suppliers on product and go-to-market strategy, and is advising leading broadcasters, streaming services and pay TV operators. Rob holds an MBA with Distinction from Imperial College, London.
